Job Summary: The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and the daily operations within the IT department. The duties include ensuring that all employees have the technology they need to complete their daily tasks and to coordinate with department managers to ensure smooth operations. They will analyze current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide ongoing training. Extensive knowledge of IT Service Management for End-User Compute functions, experience as a manager, and industry best practices knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement IT Service Management (ITSM), including but not limited to, Incident and Problem Management, Asset Management and Discovery, and Request Management.
• Employ and advocate for appropriate cyber security controls and toolsets ensuring data is properly secured from internal and external threats.
• Providing timely support to employees facing technical issues, ensuring that problems are resolved efficiently.
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• Identify problematic areas and help develop strategic solutions
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
• Ensuring that all technical systems, including software and hardware, are up-to-date, functional, and meet the company's needs.
• Regularly maintaining and updating the IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and prevent any potential issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent years of experience.
• Previous experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience preferred, but not required.
